Questions to think about while reading your peers work

Do you have a clear idea of the papers point, its topic, its thesis? Can you easily find the thesis?

Can you tell if the writer is intentionally using rhetorical devices, if so, do you think these are working well or seem forced?

Has the writer used an outside source, and if so, is it working well with the paper?
How could the writer make this paper more focused?

Is the writer giving equal space for both the movie and the story?

Is there too much summary in the essay and not enough critical thinking and analysis?
